Project Brief
Blu-Smart Mobility Pvt Ltd. Or BluSmart, is an Indian ride-sharing company, headquartered in Gurugram, India. It is implementing electric taxi cars instead of fossil fuel powered cars. In 2021, the company announced it had completed 16 million km (9.9 million mi) emission-free in Delhi NCR. BluSmart also launched EV intercity rides from Delhi NCR to Chandigarh and Jaipur.
The project would include a cumulative number of cars approx 150,000 units until 2029 in different cities across India. They aim to cut down emission reduction to 60,000 tCO2e/year and 252,513 tCO2e in a period of ten years which would reduce the annual average emission reduction by 25,251 tCO2e. The adopted practices also bring significant improvement to farmer livelihood and entire rural ecosystem.
